Remembering the DB concert yesterday made miss Vegas. I miss everything about it. The bright lights, the action, the shopping, the people (and people watching), the bums sleeping on the bench, the water show at the bellagio, the mini effiel tower, the guys on the corner offering a ticket into a bar, the cabs, the billboard trucks with the escort service, the texan I kissed, our room at the Monte Carlo, the M&M store, the deuce, the escorts cards on the ground, the 2.5 mile walk to the outlet mall, the rollar coaster at New York New York and being able to smoke or drink anywhere. I especially miss Sephora, the Mandalay Bay, the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio because those things made BFF and I fall in love with Vegas.
Sephora...what a wonderful store!!! We don't have any here in Western Canada, which is probably good for my bank account. The first time I walked in my mouth dropped. It's 3 times the size of my place and its all make up! One wall was covered with make up brushes. The art I could create with these brushes. I was like a 5 year old in a candy store. I didn't know where to begin. I knew I needed a lip plumper but I didn't where to look. I managed to find everything I needed with the help of the girls there. I managed to contain myself at $160. I did well, I could have maxed out my credit card.
Mandalay Bay, we love it because...

It's beautiful. That's where we seen DB & CCR concert at the House of Blues. It has a nice atmosphere and has boobs on the wall...lol!
The Voodoo Lounge at the Rio somehow became our choice place to party in sin city. The bartenders were awesome with Tom Cruise tricks like the movie "Cocktail". When we went back in May and the bartender remembered my BFF from our first visit in December. I kissed a balding fat man from Texas at the Voodoo lounge. That's what BFF says, I didn't think he was that bad. Maybe it's her memory that is skewed.
Enough about Vegas or I may cry. I will go again someday......

LV was so much fun!!! I like to think about those sleepless nights too. I miss it and can't wait to go back. Maybe for your wedding... lol!?!
Sephora, what a beautiful invention. You and I could do so much more damage if we go back not hungover!!
Don't you worry, we will go back, just the two of us. I'm not sure when, but it will happen, I promise you this. It WILL happen!! And who knows, maybe the bartender will still be there and remember us. But this time, no crazy tequila or crazy green drinks!!
